United Methodist Church Union Receives $20,000 Grant from Bayer Fund
Donation to help United Methodist Church Union’s Kids Meal Network programming, which serves healthy meals to thousands of kids across the Greater Pittsburgh area every summer.
Pittsburgh, PA / August 28, 2024 – United Methodist Church Union announced today it received a grant for $20,0000 from Bayer Fund, a philanthropic arm of Bayer in the U.S. This grant will be used towards building a better future by funding and growing the number of locations and children’s meals provided through the Kids Meal Network program. In 2024, the program provided 20 locations serving over 18,500 meals to children in the Greater Pittsburgh Area.

In Bayer Fund and United Methodist Church Union mutual goal to see the communities we serve flourish, this grant from Bayer Fund will support the organization by allowing them to increase the number of meals, locations and activities provided to children in the coming year.
