United Methodist Church Union is a Scholarship Organization recognized by the State of Pennsylvania’s EITC (Educational Improvement Tax Credit) Program. Scholarship recipients’ eligibility is determined by the EITC guidelines. Donations for this program are received from Corporate identities taking advantage of the EITC Tax credits.

The United Methodist Church Union operates as a PreK Scholarship Organization through the Pennsylvania EITC Program. This allows us to receive donations from Businesses that have received tax credits through the EITC program.

For contributions to Pre-Kindergarten Scholarship Organizations, a business may receive a tax credit equal to 100 percent of the first $10,000 contributed and up to 90 percent of the remaining amount contributed up to a maximum credit of $200,000 annually. http://www.newpa.com/find-and-apply-for-funding/funding-and-program-finder/educational-improvement-tax-credit-program-eitc
